Prior to booking, please review this policy thoroughly. By reserving a yacht with SharedResourceCenter, you are confirming your acceptance of these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund minus service charges
Processing Time: 5-7 working days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Must be submitted in writing through email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the entire charter fee
Processing Time: 7-10 working days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the reimbursement
Conditions: Justifiable reason needed; administrative charges incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds not available
Exception: Instances of emergency may be taken into account
Alternative: Charter voucher might be granted at company's discretion
Conditions: Proof necessary for emergency cases
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our utmost concern. Should our certified captain determine that weather conditions pose a risk to charter operations, we provide several adaptable alternatives:
- Full Refund: We issue a 100% refund when rescheduling isn't an option
- Reschedule: You may transfer your charter to another open date without incurring extra fees
- Charter Credit: Opt for a credit that's valid for one year from the original booking
Weather Assessment Process
Weather evaluations comprise:
- Evaluating wind speeds and directions
- Assessing wave heights and oceanic conditions
- Forecasting visibility and precipitation levels
- Monitoring Coast Guard advisories and alerts
- Conducting a safety review by an experienced captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions to cancel due to weather are finalized at least 4 hours before the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We recognize that unexpected medical emergencies can arise. Circumstances that may be eligible for special consideration include:
- Abrupt medical conditions or injuries that necessitate hospital care
- Passing of an immediate family member
- Military orders or urgent recall
- Required attendance for jury duty or legal subpoena
- Catastrophic events impacting travel
Documentation Requirements
Required documentation for emergency refunds consists of:
- Documentation from hospital or medical certification
- Death certificate if relevant
- Military deployment documentation
- Notice of court summons or jury duty
- Official announcements or advisories about travel-affecting emergencies
Processing: Emergency refund requests are handled within a timeframe of 3-5 working days once the appropriate documentation is received.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
In the event that the vessel you have been assigned encounters mechanical failures that are not repairable:
- Alternative Vessel: Efforts will be made to arrange a similar vessel
- Full Refund: Provided when an equivalent substitute is unavailable
- Partial Refund: Issued if the replacement vessel is priced differently
- Compensation: Further compensation might be offered for the trouble caused
Crew Unavailability
On the rare occasion that a qualified crew is not available:
- A replacement crew will be sought where feasible
- Complete reimbursement if the charter is unable to proceed
- Possibility to reschedule without incurring extra costs
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds will be issued to the same payment method utilized for the reservation:
- Credit Cards: Approximately 5-7 working days
- Bank Transfers: Roughly 7-10 working days
- Cash/Cheque: Typically 3-5 working days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
€50 fee for cancellations made over 72 hours beforehand
Bank Transfer Processing
€25 fee applicable to all bank transfer reimbursements
International Processing
Additional charges may apply for transactions across borders
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Charter credits may be provided in lieu of refunds under certain scenarios:
- Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours)
- Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions
- Requests for voluntary rescheduling
- Operational difficulties
Credit Terms
- Validity: Valid for 12 months after the date of issuance
- Transferability: Cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Value: Equivalent to the full charter cost (exempt from processing fees)
- Usage: Applicable to any charter option available
- Expiration: Will not be extended beyond the 12-month period
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
In the event your chartered service is halted or cut short due to issues we can influence:
- Adjusted refund corresponding to the unutilized duration
- Voucher for a future charter of the same value
- Gratuitous additional services or enhancements
Guest-Related Interruptions
Should the charter be concluded prematurely on account of guest behavior or breaches of safety guidelines:
- No return of funds for the remaining time
- Requirement for full payment settlement
- Possible extra fees
Dispute Resolution
In the case of dissent with a refund judgment, you are entitled to:
- Solicit a reassessment by our administrative body
- Present further proof or written evidence
- Engage with consumer advocacy groups for an amicable solution
- Resort to legal avenues as prescribed by the law

Your refund petition should include:
- Confirmation code for the booking
- Scheduled date and time of the charter
- Cancellation justification
- Any related supporting papers (where applicable)
- Your chosen method to receive the refund
Step 3: Review and Processing
Our team will acknowledge receipt of your claim within a day, assess it in accordance with these guidelines, issue a verdict within two days, and if passed, process the return of funds within the designated period.
Important Notes
- All requests for refunds must be made in written form
- Reimbursement will be processed in €, no matter the currency used for the initial payment
- Securing travel insurance is highly advised
- We reserve the right to modify this policy with a forewarning of 30 days
- Refunds are subject to relevant government taxes and rules
